Yoga for Riders, A Journey through the Chakras

  • Coast to Country Yoga and Dressage (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

A 9-week term of weekly yoga classes specifically designed to riders.

Immerse yourself in the transformative power of yoga. Beyond increasing awareness of the physical body and the strength and flexibility that you gain with yoga, yoga is also known to expand your awareness of habitual thought patterns, and how they affect you emotionally.

In this term, we explore the seven chakras, understanding how each energy centre impacts our physical, mental, and emotional states. Through targeted practices and awareness-building exercises, you'll learn how these chakras influence your position, mindset, and connection with your horse. Gain insights into how aligning and balancing these energy centres can improve your communication with your equine partner, develop more balance in body and mind, and foster a sense of harmony and empowerment both on and off the saddle.

This yoga practice is suitable for all yoga and riding levels. Our classes accommodate diverse needs through various options and pose modifications to make the practice work for you!

Discover the practical benefits of yoga on your riding. Find balance and empowerment that translate seamlessly into your life in and out of the saddle.

Get in touch if you have any questions. Secure your spot for a casual class for $25 or book the whole term and secure your spot for a reduced rate of $199.

Note: Due to the size of our studio, face-to-face spots for this yoga class are limited to 10! Term bookings will take priority over casual bookings. Unlimited spots available to join the class live online.

This yoga practice is suitable for all yoga and riding levels. Different options and modifications for poses will be shared to enable everyone to make the practice work for you!

Make 2021 your best (riding) year, yet - Workshop

Make 2021 your best (riding) year, yet - Workshop

Looking back on 2020, we’ve definitely been thrown some unexpected challenges when it came to our riding (and especially competition) goals… If you are anything like me, this year put a big half-halt on your plans for the year and it may have taken you some time to recalibrate and move forward optimistically again.

Even though 2020, may have left you feeling disillusioned, lost, and frustrated, I still believe in setting goals to be extremely important and valuable.

WHY?!

Setting goals creates clarity of what we’re aiming for, a sense of purpose of why we are in this game, and can be a hugely motivating force to keep us moving forward when the ‘going gets tough’.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THIS WORKSHOP?

A morning, just for you.

Without the distractions of everyday life, you will have the time to totally immerse yourself in your riding dreams and desires.

Putting pen to paper, you will set riding goals aligned to your personal values, come up with achievable benchmarks and commit to regular steps working towards the achievement of your goal, tailored to your schedule, priorities, and responsibilities.

Together we will explore potential challenges and develop alternative options on how to navigate these.

We will add valuable tools like relaxation, resilience, and mindfulness to your repertoire.

We will work on creating an intrinsic certainty that you CAN and WILL succeed, knowing that you are equally supported and held accountable by a support network that believes in you and wants you to make this year your best one, yet.

Leaving the room, you will carry with you, a detailed plan, an inspiring vision board, and a full heart.

The morning will include an energizing Yoga class to connect body and mind, an inspiring and practical workshop, as well as delicious refreshments, to nourish you.
